Making games is expensive, and finding players is one of the hardest problems in our industry. There are more channels, more noise, and more tools to manage than ever before.
That’s why we released FirstLook 1.0 in February 2026, a player relationship platform built for the games industry to connect with players from initial onboarding to post-launch LiveOps. It’s a tool used by global leaders like Team17, Avalanche Studios Group, KRAFTON, and Remedy Entertainment. We’ve already seen it help them build stronger community relationships by monitoring conversations across Twitch, YouTube, TikTok, Discord, X, Bluesky, community forums, storefronts, and live service channels.
We watched marketers and community managers spend their entire week digging through Discord, Steam reviews, surveys, and playtime data. Managing all of this context across disconnected apps makes it easy to miss important complaints, and it delays your decision-making. FirstLook was designed to solve this. Every single signal your studio has about your players sits in one place. This includes player sentiment, playtime, purchases, and community conversations.
Now, we’re launching FirstLook Agent, which introduces AI to equip game teams with advanced knowledge from these cross-platform insights. FirstLook Agent acts as an AI sidekick to help you understand all of this data and take immediate action. Studios provide the Agent with simple text prompts, and it will help re-engage dormant players, draft announcements, and address community concerns before they spread.
Read on to learn how you can use FirstLook Agent today.

“FirstLook Agent has been invaluable as we’re launching because it provides real-time data in a super easy way for us to create our dashboard and create actionable plans based on the data. The team at Pragma continues to stay on the cutting edge by providing us this kind of access and makes our jobs in launching and running Reaper Actual a lot easier.”

For developers#
Developers can use FirstLook Agent to synthesize clear player feedback, helping you judge game updates instantly. Because FirstLook Agent can be set to track player sentiment when new updates drop, you can ask the Agent a simple question to find out exactly what parts of your latest patch are causing frustration on channels such as Discord or Steam.
Other features include tracking bug fixes: when you patch a bug, the Agent can be prompted to find the specific players who reported it on Reddit or Discord and automatically message them to let them know it is fixed.
For marketers#
Players want to feel involved in the game development process. FirstLook Agent helps you turn community discussions into targeted messaging. This allows marketers to actively bring players back. Start by asking the Agent to find everyone who played your game for hours but has not logged in for two weeks; it will instantly draft a personalized invitation to get them back into the game.
You can also encourage new players to buy your game by tracking their interest across channels. FirstLook Agent can help identify active community members who have engaged on social media and who have your game on their Steam wishlist. Simply tell the Agent to send them targeted incentives to purchase.
Another great way to use FirstLook Agent is to have it break down sign-ups for a beta by demographics and attribute their sources (e.g., Reddit, Discord, YouTube). There are so many use cases for FirstLook’s data; all you have to do is prompt the Agent in plain English to turn that data into action.

For community managers#
FirstLook Agent automates repetitive tasks so community teams can manage huge player bases easily. With this, you can set up automations to reward your most active players. Just tell the Agent to give special Discord roles to players who play your game the most and speak positively about it.
The Agent also monitors your channels for sudden changes in tone. This gives you the exact information you need to fix player confusion before it spreads, and react quickly to growing anger at certain bugs or features.
FirstLook Agent works with your existing tools#
Studios succeed when they react to player feedback quickly. With the FirstLook MCP server, the Agent connects directly into AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT. You can view your player data and send messages across platforms right from your preferred chat interface.
FirstLook Agent is now available to all customers and is completely free while in beta.
