What you'll need
FirstLook can be used out of the box, but we recommend changing a few things before you start inviting playtesters.

- Logo and one key art image
Steam Keys
Once players finish the signup process, they will receive a Steam Key to play your game. You need to upload a batch of Steam Keys to FirstLook so they can be assigned to players.
Discord Server
A Discord server is a great way to communicate with your playtesters. You can use it to share updates, gather feedback, and build a community around your game. While completely optional, we recommend setting up a Discord server from the start, so when players are signing up, they can join your server right away.
You can configure FirstLook to automatically assign roles to players based on their actions and send a welcome message. To set up the Discord bot, you need to have a Discord server and a Discord account with Admin permissions to add the bot to your server.
Steam App ID
If you have a game on Steam, you can add your Steam App ID to FirstLook. This will prompt players to add your game to their Wishlists, and additionally, show you the players that have your game on their wishlist in the dashboard.
Logo and Key Art
You can upload a logo and key art image to customize the look of your onboarding page. The logo will be displayed in the header of the page, and the key art will be displayed as a background image.
